For many years---twenty-two, to be exact---readers have asked me why my books aren't available in the United Kingdom. For the same number of years, my answer has been a perplexed and sorrowful, "I don't know."
The situation made no sense to me. The series was beloved by UK readers who managed somehow to get their hands on the books, yet UK publishers twiddled their thumbs, stared at the ceiling, and gave Aunt Dimity the cold shoulder.
