HAPPY NEWS FOR AUNT DIMITY'S GERMAN FANS!

Here's a message from my German editor, filled with good news: "I just wanted to let you know that Bastei Lübbe are currently in the process of signing the contract for the German publication of the 21st and 22nd Aunt Dimity book - I am very glad that we will continue your wonderful series. We have had great feedback from your German fans so far and I think that we also have reached a lot of people who weren't yet acquainted with the lovely village Finch and its inhabitants. The next book (#21) will be called in German "Tante Dimity und der verlorene Schatz" and it will be out at the beginning of December in ebook and paperback. Just in time for Christmas! It will be available for pre-order by the end of September - as soon as the book cover is ready. It's being drawn by Ommo Wille, the same illustrator, who drew the last cover. Bastei Lübbe will prepare a blog-post for our homepage, where we will reveal the cover and talk to the illustrator about the various stages of his work. Book 22 will be published in Summer 2018."

AUNT DIMITY RETURNS TO GERMANY!

German publisher Bastei Lübbe is publishing the entire Aunt Dimity series under the new digital label: “be-ebooks”.

I’m delighted to announce that Book 20—“Tante Dimity und das Geheimnis des Sommerkönigs” —will be published on 9 May 2017 as an ebook as well as print-on-demand.

Raffle! Podcast!

Bastei Lübbe is planning some lovely activities to celebrate the publication of “Tante Dimity und das Geheimnis des Sommerkönigs.” There will be a raffle to win a print of the original cover illustration via Bastei Lübbe’s Facebook page; a podcast where editor Kathrin Kummer will introduce the series and read a part of the first chapter of Sommerkönigs; and various other features. (Details to be announced as soon as I have them!)
